Green Gas Solutions Heads to Reykjavík for Nordic Biogas Conference 2026

Green Gas Solutions will be in Reykjavík from 2–4 September to participate in Nordic Biogas Conference 2026.

Niels G. Conradsen and Rasmus Høg Damsbo will represent GGS at the conference, where they look forward to reconnecting with industry colleagues, meeting new contacts and discussing upcoming green-gas projects across the Nordic region.

Bringing the Nordic Biogas Value Chain Together

This year marks the tenth Nordic Biogas Conference. The event is expected to bring together up to 200 representatives from biogas producers, technology providers, utilities, municipalities, research institutions, public organisations and other parts of the biogas and biofertiliser value chains.

The programme reflects how the role of biogas continues to expand. In addition to renewable energy and waste treatment, discussions will cover security of supply, the use of biomethane across different sectors, regulatory development, sustainable fertiliser and new opportunities for biogenic CO₂ through carbon capture, storage, utilisation and e-fuel production.

For Green Gas Solutions, this broader perspective is essential. Green-gas projects increasingly involve several interconnected processes—from cleaning the raw gas and upgrading it to biomethane to compression, grid injection, liquefaction and the utilisation of the separated CO₂ stream.

What Green Gas Solutions Brings to the Conversation

GGS connects Nordic projects with selected specialist technologies and the technical teams behind them. At the conference, we will be available to discuss both individual process challenges and more integrated project solutions, including:

  • H₂S removal, air and odour treatment, and NH₃ stripping with ECOTEC

  • Membrane biogas upgrading to biomethane with BIMEO valorGas®

  • Gas compression, grid injection and CNG solutions with Fornovo Gas

  • CO₂ purification and liquefaction with MachOne Technologies

  • LBG and bio-LNG production with MachOne Technologies

  • Nordic service and maintenance support in partnership with Terotech

We begin with the project’s gas data, process requirements, site conditions and commercial priorities. From there, we help evaluate the available options, involve the relevant technical specialists and support the process from early development through contracting, delivery, commissioning and service.

A Nordic Meeting Place with International Relevance

Green Gas Solutions supports projects across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Although the Nordic countries share many ambitions, each market has its own infrastructure, feedstocks, regulations and commercial conditions.

Nordic Biogas Conference provides an important opportunity to exchange practical experience across these markets, discuss common challenges and identify where proven technologies and closer cooperation can help move projects forward.

We are particularly interested in meeting biogas producers, utilities, municipalities, EPC contractors, engineering companies and project developers who are:

  • Planning a new biogas or biomethane project

  • Evaluating upgrading or liquefaction technologies

  • Considering the commercial potential of biogenic CO₂

  • Planning a retrofit or capacity expansion

  • Looking to improve reliability or operating performance

  • Developing grid-injection, CNG, LBG or virtual-pipeline solutions

Meet Green Gas Solutions in Reykjavík

Will you be attending Nordic Biogas Conference 2026?

Contact Niels G. Conradsen or Rasmus Høg Damsbo to arrange a meeting in Reykjavík. If you already have gas-flow data, a preliminary specification or a specific process challenge, bring it with you—we will be happy to discuss the relevant options and next steps.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones and contributing to three days of valuable Nordic biogas discussions.
